Websters Dictionary defines the meaning of "Love" as "A strong positive emotion of regard and affection" as a noun and "Have a great affection or liking for" as a verb.
Websters dictionary does not define the feeling of first love, the spark of meeting of the eyes, the first tentative smile towards each other(Bet you never bothered about your teeth and lips before that!!), the fast beating of the heart when you first say hi, the awkwardness on your first date, the electricity of the first touch, the coldness in your fingers when you hold hands for the first time, the warmth in the first hug, the special meeting of eyes across the room, the passion in the first fight, the sorry's after the first fight, knowing what the "green eyed monster" jealousy is for the first time, waiting for your parents to sleep soon so that you can talk all night, the tiredness next day after talking all night, saving money to get gift for that "someone", hearing the words "I love you" for the first time and knowing its not the last time.....
Websters dictionary also does not define the feeling that you get when the love of your life thinks your just another one in the long list...the avoiding of common friends for the fear of hearing his/her name, the avoiding of certain roads and places for the fear of remembering something, not saving money anymore other than for clothes, crying late into the nights and finding your pillow soaked in the morning, staring into nothing randomly, losing interest in everything, the gut-wrenching pain when suddenly you remember a moment.....
Websters dictionary does not define any of the above.....Sometimes words are just not enough.
avoiding of certain roads and places for the fear of remembering something ( lovely line )
